On 7 September 2026, Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes targeting a three-story building in Kfar Roummane town (Al Nabatieh, Al Nabatieh), killing 12 members of the same family, including 2 Hezbollah members and 6 children, and injuring eight others, including one paramedic of Hezbollah's Islamic Health Society. An Israeli drone also struck a car in the town, killing one paramedic of the Amal Movement's Islamic Risala Scout Association (Hezbollah affiliated), and injuring two others. The Israeli military also fired artillery shells targeting the Daouha area. The IDF announced that it struck the town, targeting several Hezbollah operatives 'who were identified moving weaponry'.
