SAA event in Sagaing Region, Wetlet area, Myanmar on Thu 10th September 2026

According to a statement by the Wetlet Township PaKaFa and reports from local residents, junta troops stationed in Shein Ma Kar Village, located in the southeastern part of Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region, shot at, arrested, and beat civilians while robbing them of money, phones, and motorcycles.

At around 9:00 AM today, September 10, troops departed to the west of Shein Ma Kar Village. Upon reaching the vicinity of the Pyi Shein Aung petrol station on Inter-District Highway No. 3, soldiers stopped civilian vehicles and robbed the occupants.

The terrorist soldiers looted 4 million MMK in cash and 5 phones from 3 motor vehicles, as well as 2 million MMK in cash and 2 phones from 2 civilian motorcycles. Furthermore, the junta personnel arrested and beat about 6 civilians, and fired small arms indiscriminately at 2 civilians who failed to stop their motorcycles, before returning to their base in Shein Ma Kar.
