According to a local military source speaking to Khit Thit Media, the military column retreating from Way Di Village in Launglon Township, Tanintharyi Region, killed five civilians.

Early this morning, September 10, the terrorist military column silently departed Way Di Village. Upon reaching the vicinity of Kone Zayat Village, they shot and killed an elderly man over the age of 90 and burned down his house.

As the column advanced further, they shot and killed three displaced civilians in their 20s from Mae Maw Village. Local sources reported that efforts are currently underway to recover the bodies of the deceased.
