A KIA military source told Khit Thit Media that the KIA attacked and sank three more military vessels in the Irrawaddy River today as they were returning after delivering rations and goods to Bhamo Town, Kachin State.

On September 9, combined KIA forces used drones to intercept three terrorist military ships sailing downstream after delivering rations and supplies to the Bhamo area. The lead combat military vessel sank near Wai Ma Gyi below Zin Bong Village. Subsequently, a second combat military vessel was also sunk due to the KIA's attack.

Additionally, the KIA managed to attack and set fire to another vessel today just above Mya Lai Village in Bhamo Township. Earlier this morning, combined KIA forces also attacked and destroyed two junta vessels docked in Shwegu Township. Consequently, a total of 5 military and cargo ships were destroyed in a single day.
