14th September 2026
The Polish military recovered a Russian drone from the Baltic Sea near Rusinowo, close to Jarosławiec on Poland’s northern coast.
The drone is a new version of a Russian Gerbera drone. It is significantly larger than the standard Gerbera. Photos 3–4 show a similar new Gerbera variant in Ukraine.
Poland’s Operational Command says the drone appears to have drifted into Polish territorial waters from international waters. It was recovered by a Polish Navy hydrographic vessel and is now being examined by military specialists.
