SAA event in Lebanon on Fri 11th September 2026

An army unit in the Akroum – Akkar area arrested citizens (F.K.), (Sh.K.), and (A.K.) for their involvement in cross-border smuggling activities. Another unit at the Mankoubin checkpoint – Al-Muniyah arrested citizen (A.M.) for his involvement in an altercation involving gunfire, and seized a military pistol in his possession, along with the Syrian (A.M.) in the Bzun – Jubail area for firing shots. Army units also conducted raids in the Jiyeh – Shouf and Wadi Khalid – Akkar areas, and seized quantities of military weapons and ammunition. The seized items were handed over, and investigations began with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
