Air Delivered event in Lebanon on Sun 13th September 2026

An army unit carried out a raid in the town of Ain al-Dahab, Akkar, and arrested two civilians, (Z.A.) and (M.A.), for their involvement in a shooting incident that took place on 7 June 2026. During the raid, a civilian (S.A.) opened fire on members of the unit, who returned fire, resulting in the injury of one soldier and the civilian who fired the shots, who was taken to hospital for treatment. The weapon used and a quantity of live ammunition were seized. Separately, another unit in the same town arrested two civilians, (S.A.) and (T.K.), for firing shots on previous occasions. Furthermore, an Army unit raided the homes of wanted individuals in the Tal al-Abyad–Ba’albek area and arrested civilian (H.J.), who was wanted for committing several offences, including firing at an Army patrol, and civilian (A.K.) for possession of a quantity of drugs.
