At least three persons were killed and 20 others sustained injuries in a series of five blasts in Jalalabad, the capital of Nangahar Province on September 18, reports Reuters. As per the local health officials, three of the victims were civilians, and the rests of them were Taliban fighters. This was the first series of blasts in eastern Nangahar Province since the Taliban takeover, adds The Khaama Press News Agency. No one has taken responsibility for the blasts yet.
