On September 9, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) office in Mithakali Alam Bazar area of ??Mathbaria Upazila (Sub-District) of Pirojpur District was vandalised by unknown miscreants, reports Prothom Alo. Several chairs and a television were vandalized. There were also suspicions that pictures of former President Ziaur Rahman, former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman were taken from the office. Police recovered two unexploded bombs from the scene.
