On September 9, Security Forces (SFs) neutralised a terror module operated by an ex-terrorist and arrested a suspected “hybrid terrorist” linked to Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), identified as Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, and recovered arms and ammunition, including a Chinese pistol, two magazines and 16 rounds of ammunition in the Handwara area of Kupwara District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Daily Excelsior. Police said Bhat is an ex-terrorist who had previously been arrested in two cases. Police registered a fresh case at Handwara Police Station, and an investigation is underway to map the module’s network and associated activities.|
