SAA event in Balochistan, Bagh, Bolan District area, Pakistan on Sat 5th September 2026

On September 5, Armed men attacked the City Police Station and Sadar Police Station in Bagh city in Bolan District of Balochistan, triggering an exchange of fire with police and Security Forces (SFs) that lasted nearly two hours, reports Zrumbesh English. A large number of attackers reportedly entered the city and took control of several areas, including the two police stations and banks, while clashes and firing continued at multiple locations. The assailants also reportedly set fire to parts of a National Bank branch, as well as several motorcycles parked at the Assistant Commissioner’s office and Sub Jail Bagh. No casualties had been reported at the time of publication. No group had claimed responsibility for the attack, while authorities had not issued an official statement. Further details are awaited.
