On September 5, a police officer, identified as Abdul Nasir, was killed in firing in Noshki Bazaar in Noshki District of Balochistan, reports Zrumbesh English. According to police sources, Nasir died on the spot in the incident. The firing was reportedly aimed at Ghulam Mohiuddin Nasheb, Station House Officer (SHO) of City Police Station, who remained unharmed. Following the incident, police cordoned off the area and began collecting evidence. The body of Nasir was shifted to Teaching Hospital Noshki for medico-legal procedures. Police have initiated an investigation into the attack, while further details regarding the identity and motive of the attackers were not immediately available.
