SAA event in Balochistan, Bagh, Kachhi District area, Pakistan on Fri 4th September 2026

Baloch Republican Guards (BRG), a militant organisation, claimed responsibility for a coordinated attack on Bagh city in Kachhi District of Balochistan early on September 4, stating that five Security Forces (SFs) personnel were killed and several others wounded, reports Zrumbesh English on September 5. In a statement, BRG spokesperson Dostain Baloch claimed that militants surrounded an SF camp, attacked the City Police Station and shot down two quadcopters. The group further claimed to have captured and set fire to the Sadar Police Station, NADRA office, Assistant Commissioner’s office, a National Bank branch and other government buildings, and seized weapons and equipment. BRG alleged that SFs opened fire on civilians, injuring several people, and claimed its fighters withdrew safely after the operation. The group warned of further attacks.
