On September 4, three active cadres of the Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) were arrested by a team of CDO/Imphal East based on reliable intelligence corroborated by 19 Garhwal Rifles and 31 Assam Rifles (AR), at Awang Leikinthabi in Imphal West District, Manipur, Manipur Police reports on X. The arrested cadres were identified as Ahanthem Puninkanta Singh alias Deepak (45), Potsangbam Niranjan Singh alias Chaobi (30), and Mohen Takhellambam alias Renyai (31). Security Forces (SFs) seized four No. 36 highly explosive (HE) hand grenades with four detonators from the arrested cadres.
