A 4-year-old child and a 40-year-old woman were killed when the terrorist military dropped bombs via drone near the Ta Law Ta Poe IDP camp in the Phalu area, southern Myawaddy Township, Karen State, an official from the Rehmonnya - Human Rights Foundation of MonLand told Khit Thit Media.

On September 4 at around 1:00 PM, without any active fighting taking place, the terrorist military used a drone to drop bombs on the main road strip near the Ta Law Ta Poe IDP camp.

During the first drone bombing strike, a bomb exploded near a house along the main road, killing a 4-year-old child inside the house on the spot after being struck in the neck by bomb shrapnel.

Subsequently, during a second drone strike, a 40-year-old woman who went back to retrieve belongings from inside the house was struck by shrapnel and sustained severe injuries.
