6th September 2026
Two military vehicles were attacked with landmines in Natmauk Township, Magway Region, striking one vehicle and likely causing casualties among soldiers, according to a statement by the Beikthano People's Defense Army (General Staff).
Today, September 6, at 10:29 AM, revolutionary forces prepared two separate minefields and launched a landmine attack against two vehicles carrying around 20 terrorist Military Council troops traveling from Kan Pyo Village toward Ka Lar Shin Village in Natmauk Township.
During the attack, the first vehicle avoided detonation due to a Military Council jammer, but when the second vehicle arrived, the second minefield was successfully detonated. Casualties among the Military Council soldiers are likely, though exact numbers cannot be confirmed.
Following the landmine blast, Military Council members fired their weapons indiscriminately along the road as they retreated back to Natmauk town.
