In the Tinajas neighborhood of the municipality of Ituango, Antioquia, soldiers from the No. 10 Light Infantry Battalion Colonel Atanasio Girardot of the #CuartaBrigada located and destroyed a structure used as a laboratory for processing coca base paste, apparently belonging to the criminal group Clan del Golfo. During the operation, supplies and materials used for processing alkaloids were destroyed and rendered useless, including mixed gasoline and ACPM, urea, sulfate, caustic soda, and hoses. This action impacts the illicit economy of this structure and prevents these resources from being allocated to strengthen their criminal capabilities.
