Troops arrest three suspected armed robbers, recover pistol in Benue By: Zagazola Makama

Troops of Sector 2, Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS), in collaboration with local hunters, have arrested three suspected armed robbers at Torkula in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State.

Zagazola Makama gathered from military sources that the suspects were apprehended at about 8:50 p.m. on Sept. 7, 2026.

The troops also recovered one locally fabricated pistol from the suspects, who were allegedly involved in robbery activities in the general area. The suspects and recovered weapon are currently in military custody for further investigation and necessary action.
