BREAKING: 2800km from the frontline, deepest Ukrainian drone attack during the war is currently underway. Russians report that Ukrainian drones are attacking Novy Urengoy in Russia’s Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug for the first time since the start of the war, around 2,800 from the Ukrainian border. A likely target is Gazprom’s Novy Urengoy condensate processing facility, one of the key industrial sites in the heart of Russia’s gas industry. Gazprom says the plant can process 19.5 million tonnes of raw material per year and handles gas condensate from major fields across the Yamal region.
