Rocket event in Ukraine on Fri 4th September 2026

On 4 September 2026, Russian Forces conducted a combination of air, drone, mortar, MLRS and artillery strikes on the Khotinska community (coded to Khotin, Sumy). No civilian casualties. Russian forces (units of the 'North' group using operational-tactical aviation, combat UAVs, missile forces, and artillery) struck the Ukrainian personnel and equipment, including three territorial and a National Guard brigades (coded to Prykolotne) near Khotin. According to Russian sources, Ukrainian military lost: 2 armored combat vehicles, 12 vehicles, an artillery piece, a surface-to-air missile system, two electronic warfare stations, an Israeli-made RADA RPS-42 counter-battery radar and up to 205 Ukrainian servicemen were killed near Khotimlia, Ulanove, Prykolotne, Kotivka, Kyianytsia, Khotin, Hoptivka and Pilna [Russian MoD reported 205 fatalities.
