On 7 September 2021, in Yenangyaung town, Yenangyaung township (Magway district, Magway region), the Yenangyaung PDF bombed the Ywa Thit ward administration office. The PDF group stated that the attack was a warning to ward and village administrators serving under the military junta. Casualties unknown.
