On 3 September 2026, near Rar Hpu village (coded as Rar Hpu (Haung)) (Yebyu township, Dawei district, Tanintharyi region), the Myanmar military fired heavy weapons indiscriminately twice and shells exploded near the entrance of the village following the clash with the joint forces of the Ye Ogre Group and the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA)'s Battalion 27 (coded separately). The attack injured a 38-year-old woman.
