On 29 August 2026, near Maung Mei Shaung village (Dawei township, Dawei district, Tanintharyi region), the Myanmar military's Artillery Battalion 302 fired heavy weapons toward the vicinity of the village and conducted airstrikes using a K-8W aircraft. The hundreds of local residents from the Maung Mei Shaung village and the surrounding areas were forced to flee due to the airstrikes and heavy weapons, following the clash near the Maung Mei Shaung village (coded separately). Casualties unknown.
