On 29 August 2026, between Shwegu town and Bhamo town (coded as Bhamo) (Bhamo district, Kachin state), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped cluster bombs on riverside villages, following the clash in Shwegu town on 28 August 2026 (coded separately). The airstrikes destroyed houses and buildings. Casualties unknown.
