On 30 August 2026, in Lagos del Dorado (Guaviare), military forces, with the help of intelligence information provided by the United States, launched an airstrike operation called 'Azarias' against the Carolina Ramirez FARC dissident front, killing 24 combatants assembled at a camp, including one front leader and two minors. During the operation, military forces arrested six members of the armed group, rescued one minor who had been forcibly recruited, and seized 28 rifles, four machine guns, three handguns, ten sets of field gear, and 13 vests. 24 fatalities.
