On 30 August 2026, in Popayan (Cauca), an unknown number of unidentified suspects threw explosive devices at the local utility company's headquarters in the Los Faroles neighbourhood, damaging part of the infrastructure. The attack took place in the early morning, so there were no staff members on the premises. Law enforcement stated that it was not the first attack the company has been targeted by. There were no casualties.
