Missile event in Odesa area, Ukraine on Mon 7th September 2026

At night, the Russian Federation attacked civilian infrastructure in the Odessa region with ballistic missiles. The market was damaged . Three men were injured.

This was reported on September 8 by the press service of the Odessa Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The Odessa Regional Prosecutor's Office has launched a pre-trial investigation into the fact of a war crime — Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

According to the investigation, more than 200 shopping pavilions in one of the markets were damaged. Three men aged 48 to 58 were injured. One of them was hospitalized with moderate injuries.

What is known about the attack on the "7th kilometer" market near Odessa?

The press service of the 7th kilometer industrial park reported that at about 3:30 a.m. the Kharkiv site was hit. The utility building, warehouse, technical and utility buildings of the industrial park, as well as the shopping pavilions closest to the explosion site were damaged. The injured 58-year-old security guard underwent surgery, his condition is stable.

The regional military administration noted that two men born in 1972 and 1978 additionally sought medical attention. They did not require hospitalization.

 Two explosions  were heard in Odessa at night around 3:30 a.m.  The Air Force warned  of a high-speed target on the city. The air alert lasted from 3:23 to 3:38 a.m.
