Five members of a Hindu family killed in a drone attack on Boutsukhin Village, Phyu Township

A local source told Red Peacock News Media that a drone bombing carried out by the Myanmar military on the night of 5 September, at approximately 10:00 p.m., struck Boutsukhin Village near the Oke Hpyat road and the Phyu Creek in Phyu Township, Bago Region, resulting in the deaths of members of a Hindu family.
The source said that military forces stationed in Wae Gyi Village launched the drone attack against Boutsukhin Village, which is located about one mile away from their position.
A local resident stated:
“All five members of the family were killed. Two other people suffered serious injuries, and another two sustained non-life-threatening injuries.”
The source added that two civilian homes were damaged in the airstrike and that all those killed were civilians.
The report also notes that during August, the Myanmar military allegedly committed 528 human rights violations nationwide and carried out 530 airstrikes across 13 regions and states, resulting in the deaths of 139 civilians, including 18 children, according to a statement released by the National Unity Government (NUG) in September.
