On 01 June, 2019, a gunman believed to be an IS member detonated his SVBIED near al Naem roundabout in Amin neighborhood in Ar-Raqqa city near a QSD checkpoint, killing 5 QSD members and 6 civilians while numerous others were wounded. A landmine also detonated in the same area but left no casualties. Total fatalities coded to 11 to account for the suicide operative. 3 civilians died the following day from injuries sustained during the explosion. Total fatalities coded as 14.
