SAA event in Balochistan, Ziarat Cross, Pishin District area, Pakistan on Mon 31st August 2026

At least 10 Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists and six Security Forces (SFs) personnel were killed during a clash in Ziarat Cross area of Pishin District in Balochistan on August 31, reports Geo TV. Terrorists launched a coordinated attack in an attempt to breach the Customs House in Ziarat Cross. Security Forces (SFs) responded and killed 10 terrorists after an intense exchange of fire. However, six personnel — including two officers and a government official from the Customs Department — were killed during the exchange of fire. The TTP claimed responsibility for the assault at Ziarat Cross, stating that its Special Istishhadi Force (SIF) carried out the operation, adds Frontier Files. The group claimed that 15 personnel were killed or injured, 15 weapons and additional equipment were seized, and a quadcopter was shot down during the engagement.
