Twelve Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) cadres were killed as Security Forces (SFs) repelled an attack on a security checkpoint in the Dalbandin area of Chaghi District in Balochistan on August 31, reports The Khyber Chronicles. The attack was reported in the Dalbandin area where a group of BLA cadres targeted a SFs’ post. Alert personnel responded immediately and launched a counter-action to prevent the attackers from advancing towards the post. SF personnel encircled the attackers and engaged them, resulting in the elimination of 12 cadres. A cache of weapons and ammunitions were recovered from the possession of the eliminated terrorists.
