On August 30, unidentified armed men, suspected to be Baloch insurgents, attacked a convoy of Security Forces (SFs) in the Hairabad area of Turbat tehsil (revenue unit) in Kech District of Balochistan, reports Zrumbesh. The convoy comprised four vehicles and came under attack while passing through the area. Following the attack, additional SF personnel reportedly reached the site, while helicopter flights were also observed in the vicinity. Though casualties were reported among SF personnel, but the nature and number of casualties could not be immediately confirmed. No official statement had been issued by the authorities regarding the incident at the time of the report. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
