On August 30, CDO Unit Kakching and 46 Assam Rifles (AR) arrested two extortionist active cadres of Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) identified as Yumnam Rohenjit Meitei alias Akui (26) andShakachand Yumnam alias Chand (26) from Kakching District, Manipur, reports Manipur Police on X. Two empty Indian Small Arms System (INSAS) assault rifle magazines, 27 INSAS live rounds, one Baofeng handset, two slings, one bulletproof (BP) jacket with a plate, one pair of tactical boots and one magazine pouch were recovered from their possession.
