On August 30, Police arrested two suspects and recovered a pistol and a sharp-edged weapon from their possession in the Narwal area of Jammu District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Daily Excelsior. A team from Police Post Narwal was patrolling near Malik Market, opposite Shopper Stop, when it noticed the two persons moving suspiciously. Police stopped and searched the duo, recovering the weapons. Police subsequently arrested them and registered a case under relevant sections of law at Police Station Bahu Fort. Further investigation has been initiated to ascertain the source and intended use of the recovered weapons and determine whether the accused have any links to criminal or terrorist activities.
