On August 29, unidentified persons hurled a hand grenade at Sorojini Oil Pump near Khangabok under Thoubal Police Station in Thoubal District, Manipur, triggering an explosion, India TodayNE reports. The assailants allegedly arrived in a car travelling from Wangjing towards Thoubal before throwing the grenade at the oil pump. The grenade exploded near an oil tanker parked inside the complex. No casualties were reported.
