Taliban detained two young men, Amrullah and Salam in the mountains between Khost District in Baghlan and Worsaj District in Takhar and then shot and killed them, Amu TV reports on August 29. Taliban poured acid on the bodies after the killings and then displayed them first in the market in Farghanbol village and later in Duabi market, the center of Khost District in Baghlan Province. The bodies were later handed over to relatives and local residents. Taliban killed them on accusations of being part of the resistance, poured acid on their faces and hung their bodies in the square. Sher Ahmad Burhani, Spokesman for the Taliban Police command in Baghlan, told that the incident did not involve the police command and was related to forces under the Taliban Defense Ministry.
