Two Policemen sustained injuries when terrorists opened fire on a Police vehicle near Amin Farms along Tank Road in Dera Ismail Khan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on August 28, reports The Khyber Chronicles. According to Police, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kalachi and the Station House Officer (SHO) Hathala were travelling with other personnel towards the area for a raid when terrorists opened fire on their vehicle near Amin Farms. Police personnel immediately returned fire and effectively engaged the attackers, forcing them to retreat from the area. During the exchange of fire, the DSP Kalachi’s vehicle overturned. As a result, a Police gunman and an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) sustained minor injuries.
