SAA event in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dera Ismail Khan District area, Pakistan on Fri 28th August 2026

Security Forces (SFs) killed four Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists and injuries to another during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Dera Ismail Khan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on August 28 after receiving information that a group of TTP terrorists were travelling from Kulachi toward Maddi, reports The Khyber Chronicles. According to SFs, the personnel acted promptly on the intelligence and intercepted the terrorists while they were moving through the area. An exchange of fire followed, during which two terrorists were eliminated at the scene and three others were injured. The injured terrorists were identified as Waheed Khan and Atifullah, among others. Both later succumbed to their injuries, taking the total number of terrorists eliminated in the operation to four.
