Counter Intelligence (CI), Amritsar, arrested three persons, identified as Sunil Masih, Rajan Masih and Pardeep Singh and recovered seven pistols and six live cartridges from them in the Noorpur area of Amritsar District on August 28, reports The Tribune. Acting on reliable intelligence, police intercepted the trio after learning that Sunil and Rajan had received a consignment of illegal pistols and were allegedly to deliver the weapons to Pardeep Singh.
