On August 28, Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) fighters carried out their first guerrilla operation in the Ab Qala area of Waghaz District Ghazni Province killing Mullah Omar Sediq, Deputy Commander of Unit 06 under Hafiz Badruddin in Ghazni, as posted in X. Sediq was described as one of the Taliban’s hardline and abusive commanders in Waghaz District of Ghazni Province. AFF also seized one small arms weapon and one handgun belonging to the Taliban Commander.
