On August 27 night, Taliban Police command forces killed two National Resistance Front (NRF) commanders, identified as Shams and Babah during an operation in Char Sai area of Nahrin District of Baghlan Province, reports Afghanistan International. According to the Taliban, Shams, also known as “Kharabat”, was the NRF’s military commander for Nahrin, Burka and Jalgah Districts, while Babah was the group’s military commander in Nahrin. The Taliban statement said its forces seized weapons and ammunition during the operation, along with a night-vision device.
