On August 26, the Army detected and safely destroyed an old mortar shell found near the Nangi Tikri area along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Daily Excelsior. The recovery of the old explosive ordnance along the LoC prompted precautionary measures by security forces to prevent any potential threat to civilians or troops in the area.
