A trader, Imran Gogan (48), was shot dead in a targeted attack by unidentified assailants on motorcycle in the Sohrab Goth area of Karachi, the provincial capital of Sindh, on August 25, reports Dawn. Sohrab Goth SHO Gul Baig said that Imran Gogan was on his way to New Karachi from Ayub Goth by a car when unknown assailants opened fire on the vehicle. A single bullet hit him in the neck which proved fatal, the police officer said, adding that the victim died on the spot. The deceased was a resident of Bahadurabad.
