On August 25, a People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) cadre, identified as Lemba Mutum (40), was arrested along with an INSAS rifle, four magazines and 60 rounds of 5.56mm, during a search operation near Border Pillar (BP) 72 inTengnoupal District, Manipur, reports Manipur Police on X. The operation was launched by Chandel Police and 10 Assam Rifles (AR) based on inputs regarding the presence of insurgents in the area.
