On August 25, Security Forces (SFs) arrested two suspected overground workers (OGWs) of terrorists, identified as Latif Ahmad Deedad and Aejaz Ahmad Bajad, and recovered a pistol, 12 rounds and a hand grenade in Pulwama District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Daily Excelsior. The recovered arms and ammunition were seized and the suspects taken into custody. A case was registered under relevant sections of the Arms Act and Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, and an investigation was launched to establish the source of the weapons and identify their terrorist linkages.
