SAA event in Balochistan, Sanni, Kachhi District area, Pakistan on Mon 24th August 2026

One soldier was killed and two surveillance cameras were destroyed when United Baloch Army (UBA) cadres lunched a sniper attack on military personnel stationed at a cantonment in the Sanni area of Kachhi District in Balochistan on August 24, reports Zrumbesh. The UBA claimed responsibility for the attack. According to a statement issued by the UBA, its specialised sniper unit opened fire on personnel at the cantonment at around 9 a.m., killing one soldier and destroying two surveillance cameras. The group said a separate unit of its fighters simultaneously launched an assault on the cantonment using automatic weapons, claiming further casualties and damage to the forces stationed there.
