On August 24, a combined team of Manipur Police, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Rapid Action Force (RAF) and Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) recovered arms, ammunition and other security equipment during a cordon and search operation at J. Songtun Village, Kangpokpi District, Manipur, reports Manipur Police on X. The recoveries included two country-made 12-bore guns, 14 12-bore guns bearing various manufacturer, serial and licence markings, 1,225 rounds of 12-bore ammunition, six Very High Frequency (VHF) wireless sets with three chargers, one Golden Antler telescope, 18 bulletproof (BP) vests and one pouch.
