At least 13 Security Forces (SFs) personnel were killed while more than 10 personnel sustained injuries when Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) cadres destroyed an armoured vehicle convoy of SFs using an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion in the Khadkocha area of Mastung District in Balochistan on August 22, reports Zrumbesh. BLA ‘spokesperson’ Jeeyand Baloch claimed the responsibility in a statement issued to the media. He said another armoured vehicle and additional vehicles were also targeted in an ambush. The BLA’s Special Tactical Operations Squad (STOS) was involved in the operation.
