Unidentified armed men, suspected to be Baloch insurgents, used heavy machinery to destroy a major section of a bridge on the Kharan–Karachi Highway near the Sotkagan area of Kharan District in Balochistan, severely disrupting traffic on August 20, reports Frontier Files. The highway was closed to all traffic following the attack.
