On August 20, Pakistani forces acting on intelligence, foiled a major terrorist plot by recovering a substantial cache of explosives during a targeted intelligence-based operation in the Nokkundi area in District of Balochistan, reports The Khyber Chronicles. The recovery included approximately 150 kilograms of foreign-sourced explosives, deliberately concealed underground in 10 separate containers. Intelligence inputs revealed that the recovered explosives were intended to be used in suicide attacks and improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
